This procedure allows you to program your unused line buttons so they show the status of other phones in your office.  They can also be used to speed dial that extension or transfer calls.

1. Press Menu
2. Press 1 for "Features"
3. Press 2 for "Contact Directory"
4. If there are no contacts press "Add" otherwise you will have to hit "More" and then you will see "Add".
5. Use the up and down arrows to navigate through the list.  You can enter the First and Last name if you choose it is not required.  The Contact should be the extensions you want to monitor. The Label can be what ever you want, I will be the extension if you leave it blank.
6. Use the down arrow till you get to "Watch Buddy" and then press the left arrow to change it to "Enabled"
7. Hit "Save"

Now you will see your "Buddy" and a little icon that looks kind of like a person.  That icon will change based on their status.  The button is also now a speed dial to them.
